With startups such as Amazon, Flipkart and Uber changing the course of mankind with a decade by dethroning major century old business houses – Startups are definitely in and the time to startup is definitely now.

But where does one start? Just think of an idea and chant mantra’s? Or daydream of telling Buffet a cool one-liner to floor him into putting billions in your idea? Unfortunately we live in the real world! Fortunately real world is not as difficult as you fear. YWCO’s Pitch Perfect workshop clarifies the first step in any budding entrepreneurs journey – how to identify, evaluate and present your idea!

Learning Objectives

The Program is designed for a student to:

  • Understand the startup journey from idea to raising funds
  • Realize value of key market, competitor and consumer research
  • Objectively assess any startup idea
  • Implement key concepts like product market fit, MVP and CBA
  • Assess point of views of customers, investors and other stakeholders
  • Identify key pain points and challenges of a business
  • Build insights into storytelling of your startup idea to an investor
  • Concisely communicate your ideas in a presentation, over phone or in person

Program Outline

Pitch Perfect workshop seeks to encourage participants to introspect ideas, conduct thorough and diligent research, identify critical strengths and weaknesses of business plans to ensure they develop self-confidence in themselves, able to shrug of rejection and build belief in their vision of changing the world

Sessions are designed to be light, interactive and professional with

  • Concise and direct explanation of fundamental concepts
  • Clear visualization of stakeholder’s perspectives and expectations
  • Understanding of challenges and successes with practical examples and case studies
  • Handholding and guidance for research and pitch preparations
  • Step-by-step walkthrough of preparing a business pitch
  • Supervised by experienced investors and advisors
  • Resolution of queries with live trading
  • Dedicated team of mentors for additional help, guidance or more insightful discussions

Individual pursuing graduation from any discipline or steam No business experience necessary
